Hey Winston-Salem, Collecting Pile is coming your way!!

COLLECTING PILE is a series of interactive artworks that involve the community as both content and collaborator. Through the process, I invite people to donate decommissioned domestic goods and welcome participants to make large-scale sculptures informed by rag rugs.

Collecting Pile: REASSEMBLE Workshops are community "making" sessions that produced Collecting Pile (Zenith) and Collecting Pile (Horizon) and Pile/Assembly (circles and glitz). I've previously led these workshops at Goodyear Arts in Charlotte, NC, North Central College in Naperville, IL, the Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington, NC, and Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Collecting Pile: REASSEMBLE // Winston-Salem is community-led interactive experience. I can't wait to meet you!

Want to participate? Here are the details:
Participants are encouraged to donate their unwanted items at donation stations and also to contribute to the creation of the piece during public 'making' events.
